（１）掲示/Post
レーザー装置の使用に際しては、「警告標識」表示を装置本体と実験室の入り口に、「保護メガネ着用」表示を実験室入口に掲示しなければなりません。
When using a laser device, a "warning sign" must be posted on the device and at the entrance of the laboratory, and a "wear protective glasses" sign must be posted at the entrance of the laboratory.

（２）目の保護のために/For eye protection
・レーザー光の波長に対応している保護メガネを必ず着用してください。
Be sure to wear protective goggles corresponded to the wavelength of laser light.
・保護眼鏡を着用していても、絶対にレーザー光を直接見てはいけません。
Never look directly at the laser beam even if you are wearing protective goggles.
・ミラー等の光学系がしっかり固定されていることを確認してから使用してください。
Make sure that the optical system such as the mirror is firmly fixed before using.
・反射率の高い物をレーザー機器周囲に置いてはいけません。例えば腕時計のガラスの反射光で失明した事例ががありますので外して作業してください。
Do not place objects with high reflectance around the laser device. For example, there are cases of blindness caused by the reflected light from the glass of a watch, so remove it before starting work.
・予期しない反射を防ぐため、レーザー光路及び光路の延長線上をカバーで覆ってください。
To prevent unexpected reflection, cover the laser optical path and the extension of the optical path with a cover.
・光路の高さは、歩行時のみならず作業時の目の高さも避けて設置してください。
Install the optical path so that it avoids the eye level not only from walking but also from working.
・可能な限り明るい場所で装置を扱ってください。
Handle the device in a bright place as much as possible.
・レーザー光が実験室の出入口や窓に向かないよう設置してください。
Install the laser beam does not face the entrance or window of the laboratory.
・実験室入口ドアにガラス窓がある場合、レーザー使用中は暗幕で覆ってください。廊下を歩く人にレーザー光が当たることを防ぐためです。
If there is a glass window on the entrance door of the laboratory, cover it with a blackout curtain while using the laser. This is to prevent the laser beam from hitting people walking in the corridor.
（３）皮膚の保護のために/For skin protection
・皮膚を損傷しますので、 皮膚に直接レーザー光を当ててはいけません。白衣や衣服の上からでも当ててはいけません。
Do not irradiate the skin directly with laser light as it will damage the skin, even on lab coat or clothing.
・皮膚の露出を少なくしてください。難燃性の衣服の着用をお勧めします。
Reduce the exposure of the skin. We recommend wearing flame-retardant clothing.
・レーザーの光路上やその延長上に立ってはいけません。
Do not stand on the optical path of the laser or on its extension.
・レーザー光路に燃えやすいもの（溶剤、油、紙など）を置いてはいけません。
Do not put flammable materials (solvent, oil, paper, etc.) in the laser optical path.
・レーザー光の終端の際は、専用のビームストッパーや不燃性の遮蔽物（レンガなど）を置いてください。
When terminating the laser beam, place a dedicated beam stopper or non-combustible shield (brick, etc.).
（４）その他の注意事項/Other precautions
・装置は高電圧を印加し動作しています。感電の危険性があるので、使用していない状態であってもむやみにカバーを外さないでください。やむを得ずカバーを開ける場合は、感電対策を施してから作業を行ってください。
The device is operating by applying a high voltage. Do not remove the cover unnecessarily even when not in use, as there is a risk of electric shock. If it is unavoidable to open the cover, take measures against electric shock before starting work.
・カバーを外しているときは、使用していない状態でも保護メガネを着用してください。
When removing the cover, wear protective goggles even when not in use.
・エキシマーレーザーはハロゲン系のガスを使用するため、ガス配管のリーク等のチェックを行ってください。
Because the excimer laser uses halogen-based gas, check for leaks in the gas piping.
・色素レーザーで使用する色素には、発がん性等の危険性があるものもあります。色素溶液調合の際には必ず保護具を着用し、吸引を防ぐためにもドラフトチャンバー内で作業を行ってください。
Some dyes used in dye lasers have a risk of carcinogenicity. Be sure to wear protective equipment when formulating the dye solution and work in the fume hood to prevent suction.
・他の作業者が使用中であることが分かるよう、周知・掲示をしてください。
